Foundation Vale Tudo Course (open to the public)

Vale Tudo is Portuguese and translates to 'everything goes / everything allowed'.

This full contact sport also known as 'no holds barred' fighting is now used to refer to an early, more rules-free stage of the modern sport of MMA (Mixed Martial Arts).

It is the fundamental techniques of this that we will be looking at.

Basic experience in Grappling or Kickboxing is adviced but not necessary.

This course will show simple striking, defending strikes with and without the added consideration on clinch and grappling. Striking on the ground to achieve an overall strategy. How to clinch while considering strikes, dirty boxing. Using striking in a takedown strategy. How to 'ground and pound' effectively and as much as we can fit in.
