About this Event
Presented by
Senior Social Worker, Mood Disorders Center
Social Worker, Anxiety Disorders Center
All kids run into friendship challenges from time to time. Some may need guidance in dealing with day-to-day conflict or responding to bullying. Others may have underlying issues that affect their ability to make and keep friends — like anxiety, ADHD, or autism. This presentation will cover friendship development across the lifespan of a child, emphasizing what to expect and common social-emotional issues at various developmental stages. Our clinical experts will provide research-backed strategies to support students to foster friendships in today’s complex world.
Breakfast, discussion, and networking to follow. Space is limited, kindly register by November 14th.
About The Professional Event Series
We are hosting a series of free professional events to support evidence-based practice in children’s mental health. This is an opportunity for pediatricians, teachers, educational consultants, and mental health professionals to collaborate and network to support youth mental health. We hope you will join us.
