About this Event

As part of the Sea Monsters: Prehistoric Ocean Predators exhibition program, Mandurah Museum invites you to explore the fascinating world of fossils, skulls, and scientific observation through this guided nature journaling workshop.

Mandurah Museum is excited to host Sea Monsters, a travelling exhibition from the Australian National Maritime Museum, on display from 12 August to 9 October.

Guided by Kim Lapere, participants will examine a fascinating collection of fossils and animal skulls, discovering how careful observation can reveal clues about anatomy, adaptation, behaviour, and the lives of ancient and modern animals. Through nature journaling and scientific illustration techniques, you'll develop your observational and drawing skills while connecting with the natural world.

No previous drawing or journaling experience is required. All materials are provided.
