✨ Grabbers, gloves, and bags will be provided.
👟 Please wear suitable shoes and clothing — you may be walking through sand or water.
🧢 Consider wearing sunscreen, a hat and sunglasses.
🌦️ Event is rain or shine, so dress for the weather! If Mother Nature decides to bring extreme weather to the coast, we will cancel.
💧Bring a reusable container for drinking water. We DO NOT supply cups. Water will be provided by Water Tree Galveston.

Month after month, we continue showing up for this stretch of shoreline because the truth is… it still desperately needs us.
For years, this area has largely been overlooked by many organized clean-up efforts, and even with our monthly cleanups, trash continues washing in and being left behind faster than a small group of volunteers can manage alone.
And this isn’t just about appearances.
Marine debris and plastic pollution seriously impact wildlife, marine animals, birds, fish, and even humans. Sea turtles mistake plastic bags for jellyfish. Birds and marine mammals become entangled in fishing line and debris. Plastics break down into microplastics that make their way into our bays, oceans, seafood, and ultimately back to us. NOAA estimates marine debris impacts more than 700 species worldwide.
The good news?
Every cleanup matters.
Every bucket filled.
Every fishing line removed.
Every child who learns to care for the coastline.
Every neighbor who shows up.
But we truly need more of our community beside us this time.
