Drop Off and Leave
Join our 6-hour session (9am - 3:00pm) for children aged 6-12 years (older children are also welcome), designed with the ethos of forest school and a wonderful introduction to Bushcraft and other fun forest activities!
This session allows parents to drop their children off for a day filled with fun and adventure.
Activities Include:
• Stream damming
• Den building
• Bushcraft skills
• Fire lighting
• Cooking on a campfire
• Tool use
• Natural crafts
• Mini beast hunting
• And much more!
Includes:
• A campfire snack
What to Bring:
• Activity clothes (long sleeves and trousers recommended)
• Waterproofs
• Wellies
• Sun cream
• Sun hat
• Towel
• Change of clothes for the way home
• Packed lunch
Drop-off & Pick-up:
• Drop-off: 8:45am - 9am at the terrace, Bodenham Arboretum, DY11 5TB.
• Pick-up: 3:30pm at the terrace, Bodenham Arboretum.
Important Information:
• We have a large shelter on site, so most activities can continue even in wet weather.
• The only reasons for cancellation are high winds, thunderstorms, or other situations beyond our control

• Packed lunch

• Change of clothes

• Sturdy shoes
• Sun cream

• Towel
• Necessary medication (e.g., epi-pens, inhalers)
• Self-contained bag that your child can carry

• Sessions are run by a qualified forest school leader with Paediatric First Aid and DBS certificates.
