Following a gorgeous summer hosting Forest Bathing experiences at Lytham Hall, I am looking forward to guiding our Autumn sessions - the colours, the sounds and the crisp Autumn air are such a treat for the senses! Autumn dates are now available to book (be quick, the sessions always sell out)
The practice of forest bathing brings your mind and body into a quiet, relaxed state (yes, even the stressed-out souls amongst us that suffer from chronic thinking and overactive minds). It brings a beautiful awareness of where we are and also what we are feeling in the moment, opening the doors to healing and self-connection.
Through mindful invitations and a gentle exploration of the forest I will guide you on a restorative journey to help you find stillness in the present moment, reawaken your senses and perhaps notice a sense of joy and wonder as you experience the healing power of nature
The forest knows what you need, but most guests report a sense of deep relaxation, and a feeling of being more connected to themselves and the world around them.
"Awakening our senses is the pathway to connection with the natural world and the present moment"
This is for you if:

What is Forest Bathing?
Forest bathing is a therapeutic practice where you are invited to mindfully explore the forest with all of your senses.
The practice has its roots in Japan, where it is called Shinrin-yoku (shinrin means β€˜forest’ and β€˜yoku means β€˜bath’ ) and so shinrin-yoku means to bathe in the atmosphere of the forest. It is immersive, sensory and deeply restorative but I promise you can keep your clothes on!
Often when we are out in nature we have a purpose – we are exercising, walking the dog, counting steps, chatting with friends or out with our kids. Forest bathing is the opposite of this… it is simply β€˜being’ in nature. To be 'here', not 'there'.
You will be guided through a series of invitations to help you slow down and awaken your senses so that you can experience nature's medicine
When we open our senses to the forest, we begin to connect with her. There is a felt sense that we belong to the natural world. And when we connect with the forest something amazing happens – we begin to connect with ourselves πŸ’š
Your investment: Β£32.50 pp for a 2.5 hour guided experience including herbal tea and homemade treat
All fitness levels and abilities are welcome. although please message me before booking with any special requirements.
