Our annual networking event to walk to help clean up the runway is here. Join us for coffee, water, donuts, and FOD. This is one of the two times we close the runway for the public.
Everyone is welcome! We will meet behind the terminal building for a quick safety brief and get trash bags before walking the runway and watch the sun rise.
Foreign Object Debris... FOD is a problem on any airport runway. It causes damage to engines and planes. It can also injure runway workers when planes take off. It is a constant battle. We will shut down the runway and pick up debris. We will give out prizes for the most unique finds.
