This takes place at From The Land on the edge of Bath, accessed down Haycombe Lane. We will have the barn and explore surrounding footpaths and fields. The course will be a mixture of foraging; learning about the medicinal and culinary uses of the mushrooms and plants around us, and learning to listen to and be part of the dynamic living world.
We will walk to uncover the secrets of the trees and ecosystem of hedgerow and fields. Pausing along the way, we will share stories and knowledge of the landscape. We will tap into the great strength of our intrinsic belonging in and as nature.
Practices and prompts will help us connect to our own responses to the condition of the living world, using our sensitivity as strength, and energise our participation. Some of the Spiral practices from Joanna Macey and Chris Johnstone’s Work That Reconnects will help us here.
