Do you have bluebirds visiting your backyard? Or maybe notice them visiting nest boxes in a field or park near your home? Join us as Nancy Fraim, local bluebird expert and active Board member with the Bluebird Society of PA, shares her love and knowledge regarding this particularly beautiful songbird. With great “up close and personal” pictures, including from her own backyard, Nancy will help us more fully appreciate bluebirds’ life activities, dangers they face, and how they are busy — right now!!— feeding and raising their young.
Hosted in conjunction with WWT's Bird Town Committee, this informative program is a wonderful opportunity for you and family members —including the kids!- to enjoy learning more about this important and once-endangered beauty, what we each can do to help bluebirds, and how we can attract them to our backyards.

About our presenter:
Nancy Fraim taught elementary students for 39 years before retiring in 2015. During her tenure as a science teacher in Downingtown Area School District, she taught her students the love of bluebirds. When she retired she became an active member of the Bluebird Society of PA.
Nancy is the Membership Chair and Chester County’s co-coordinator for the Bluebird Society of PA. She is also BSP’s Membership Chair, Facebook Admin. and Board member. Nancy also is a guest speaker in schools as well as other organizations. She resides with her husband, Joe, in Downingtown, PA.
