About this Event
The goal of this presentation is to present a story beginning with what we know about Delaware County’s earliest inhabitants. We will walk through our ancient past’s chronology through the generally accepted archaeological periods. We will wonder and debate hypothetically how they may have lived, survived, and evolved over 10,000 years here in Delaware County. Where did they come from, how did they get here, and why come here? Steve Schenck, our speaker, is our resident expert in prehistoric stone tools and arrowheads. He is a DCHS volunteer, and a life-long resident of Delaware County, who has 48 years with The Archaeological Society of Ohio.
