FoodNiche-ED Student Innovation Showcase

FoodNiche-ED is inviting school leaders and teachers to participate in a high-impact program that culminates in a national-stage student showcase at Cornell Tech University in Manhattan.

AWARDS: Winning teams (First, Second & Third Place) receive plaques and feature in post-event press announcements

✅ Real-world science, made relevant

Students apply science to real-world challenges connected to food, health, and communities—so learning feels meaningful and memorable.

✅ Critical thinking + leadership development

Students build problem-solving, collaboration, and leadership skills through structured, engaging learning experiences.

✅ A national-stage presentation experience

Selected students present their ideas on stage, strengthening confidence, communication, and pride in their work, an experience they remember.

Presentations will focus on student-led research or solutions on:

• Sustainability
• Food Waste
• Food Insecurity
• Food & Health Innovation

Learning opportunities, rubric and other details will be provided after registration.

Presentations are for students in:

• Middle School
• High School

On May 26, 2026, students will present what they learned and created through the FoodNiche-ED experience at Cornell Tech University in Manhattan.

This is more than a field trip; it’s a celebration of student thinking, creativity, and communication.
