About this Event
Food is My Medicine: A Transformative Evening with Sri Ganesh
What you feed your body and mind today shapes your health tomorrow.
Join us for an inspiring and eye-opening lecture with renowned Ayurvedic teacher and bestselling author Sri Ganesh, as he guides us through the powerful connection between physical and mental food—and how they shape our well-being.
In this talk, you’ll discover:
- The two types of food we consume: what we eat with our mouths, and what we absorb through our senses.
- How to make choices that support both body and mind—using Ayurveda’s six tastes as your guide.
- Practical tools to shop wisely, cook from the heart, and eat consciously.
- How to align your food and lifestyle with your presently dominant element (PDE) to prevent or heal imbalances at any age.
Whether you’re curious about Ayurveda, seeking to improve your health, or looking to deepen your relationship with food—this lecture will leave you empowered, informed, and inspired.
Sri Ganesh is the author of nine books, including the cookbooks 'Food is my medicine' and 'Food from my village’.
Event followed by a plant-based dinner and dessert, all included in your ticket!
Meet Your Host: Sri Ganesh
Sri Ganesh, the founder of Vaidya’s Ayurveda Village in Kerala, India, is an internationally recognised Ayurveda practitioner, inspirational speaker, and the author of eight widely read health books published in nine languages across the United States, Europe, and India.
Born into a traditional family in South India, Sri Ganesh began his education in Ayurveda in the early years of his life with his grandmother, a well-respected Ayurveda practitioner and poison therapist in their village. He later expanded his knowledge in the subjects of Mana-shastra (psychology), Vedanta (philosophy), Dhyana (meditation), Kalari Marma Chikitsa (Kerala martial art therapy), and Yoga Chikitsa (yoga therapy) through traditional schools in South Indian villages known as gurukulams. Sri Ganesh also holds a bachelor’s degree from Mahatma Gandhi University and a master’s degree in Human Resource Development (HRD).
Drawing on his traditional knowledge and over two decades of experience working as an Ayurveda practitioner around the world, Sri Ganesh has travelled extensively throughout Europe and the United States as an ambassador of Ayurveda, sharing his ancestors’ wisdom through talks, columns, and books. Over the years, Ganesh has delivered hundreds of inspirational talks and has written eight books in the field of health, which have been translated and published in Germany, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Norway, the Netherlands, the United States, India, and Brazil.
