Due to the cruel and illegal withholding of SNAP benefits our food pantries are running out of food because the demand is so high. Please help us restock Connections for the Homeless Evanston Pantry by dropping food off at 2121 Dewey Ave, Evanston between 2 and 4 on Monday, November 10th. You can also drop food off in advance monday morning on the porch at 2744 Eastwood Ave (before noon). Items needed include: bags of fruit (cutie oranges, apples, etc.)
packages of cheese (block or shredded)
gallon of milk (any kind)
carton of eggs (12 count)
packages of fresh, frozen, or canned protein: ground beef, chicken, meatballs, tuna, or similar
bags of frozen vegetables (single type or mixed bag)
loaves of sliced bread
box of kid snacks (apple sauce, granola bars, or fruit snacks)
boxes of cereal
Lunch supplies like sliced deli meat or Lunchables
Shelf stable items like peanut butter, pancake mix, pasta and sauce
Cooking supplies like olive oil and cooking spray
Pantry staples like sugar, salt, and flour
baby formula (any type)
