About this Event
The Food Law Student Leadership Summit returns to Harvard Law School! For a decade, the Food Law Student Leadership Summit has been the premier conference for law students with a shared passion for improving our food and agricultural systems.
This year’s milestone Summit, Food and Democracy: From Policy to Plate, will zoom in on the intersection of food and democracy, and the panel series and reception on Friday evening will be open to the public. Panels will explore how current administrative and congressional actions are reshaping our food system, and they will cover the pressing issues both driving and affected by these actions, including public health, climate, equity, food access, and more. We hope that you will join us for Friday’s panel series and reception!
Are you a law student interested in attending the Summit? We welcome applications from any law student (JD or LLM) currently attending a U.S. law school. Lodging and partial travel funding will be provided for all selected attendees. We are actively reviewing applications on a rolling basis and will begin notifying accepted applicants starting August 11. Travel stipends and lodging are available in limited numbers, so early application is important to secure funding support. If spaces remain after August 11, we will continue to accept applications on a rolling basis until mid-September. Apply today!
The Food Law Student Leadership Summit is graciously funded by the Charles M. Haar Food and Health Law and Policy Fund.
