Bella Gaffney Bio
Bella Gaffney, a folk troubadour and member of The Magpies, blends original compositions with traditional British folk and Americana tunes. Winner of the 2016 Celtic Connections Danny Kyle Award , her songwriting and unique arrangements have earned widespread acclaim. In 2023, she released her album Reflections , capturing the spirit of lockdown connections, with singles like “Fair and Tender Ladies” and “Blood in the Earth” featuring Sam Kelly and Leesa Gentz.
Bella’s work, both solo and with The Magpies , has garnered national and international recognition, praised for its infectious melodies and engaging performances, with critics like Americana UK and Mike Harding hailing her talents.
