Hot on the heels of the sold out Born in the USA 40th anniversary set this past November, our friendly neighbourhood American ex-pat/Upton Blues music director Stein brings back The SpringStein All Stars on 17th May to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Bruce Springsteen’s seminal, breakthrough 1975 album, Born to Run. The All Stars, featuring (at least) 3 lead vocalists, boast some of Temperance’s favourite local musicians from the likes The Twin Flames, WLDFLWRS and Blood on Blood.
Now, with a few new tricks (and special guests!) up their collective sleeves, and armed again with guitar, dobro, bass, harmonica, violin, banjo and percussion (… and, of course, autoharp… and possibly accordion!) the band will reinterpret, recreate and pay homage to the entire record live for this very unique matinee performance.
