Foggy Ultimate Presents: The Tampon Tournament

Join Foggy Ultimate for the inaugural Tampon Tournament—a one-day Female-Matching Player (FMP) ultimate tournament in support of Code Red.

The Tampon Tournament is a chance to get together for a great day of ultimate while supporting a local initiative tackling period poverty. Registration fees help cover tournament costs, and we're asking every team to bring a donation of menstrual products for Code Red.

Tournament Details

• Female-Matching Player (FMP) tournament
• One-day event
• 4v4 continuous format
• Team submission
• Minimum of four (4) games guaranteed
• Schedule and format will be finalized based on the number of registered teams

Registration

Registration is $25 per player.

Team captains must submit team rosters in advance. Once your captain has confirmed you're on the roster, each player must register individually through Eventbrite to secure their spot.

Team Captain Instructions

Team captains should submit their initial roster by September 3, 2026, by emailing [email protected].

Please include:

• Team name
• Captain's name and contact information
• Full roster of players

Need to make changes? No problem! Additional players and roster changes can be submitted after as needed.

Final rosters must be confirmed by September 25, 2026.

Once your roster has been submitted, each player can complete their individual Eventbrite registration to secure their spot.

Childcare

We're exploring the option of offering on-site childcare (ages 1+) through the YMCA to help make this tournament more accessible for parents and caregivers. While we can't guarantee childcare at this time, we're committed to doing our best to make it happen.

If you require childcare, please register by September 3, 2026. During registration, you'll be asked how many children require care and their ages. This information will help us determine whether we're able to offer the service.

If we're unable to secure childcare and you're no longer able to participate, your registration fee will be fully refunded.

Supporting Code Red

In addition to your registration, we encourage every team to bring a donation of menstrual products.

Suggested donations include:

• Tampons (most needed)
• Pads
• Panty liners

All donated products will go directly to Code Red, a local volunteer-run initiative that distributes menstrual products to community organizations throughout Saint John.

Who Can Play?

This tournament is open to Female-Matching Players (FMP), including cis women, trans women, and non-binary players who match against women.
