There comes a point in your yoga practice when simply taking classes isn’t enough anymore.

A teacher mentions something from yoga philosophy that you want to understand more deeply. You hear words like chakras, prāṇāyāma, or subtle body without really knowing how the pieces fit together. You experience a class that changes something in you… and find yourself wondering why it worked.

Threshold & Temple is Cove’s 200hr Yoga Teacher Training for exactly that moment.
Beginning October 3rd, a small cohort of eight students will spend nine months moving beyond simply doing yoga and learning to understand what they’re doing, why it matters, and how to guide it responsibly.
Together, we’ll explore anatomy, sequencing, philosophy, breathwork, meditation, the subtle body, observation, adaptation, teaching methodology, and the deeper roots of the practice.
You won’t memorize sequences. You’ll learn how to build them.
You won’t collect cues. You’ll understand why they work.
And you won’t disappear into the back of a crowded training room. With only eight students, there is room for your questions, your practice, your voice, and your way of making sense of what you’re learning.
Do you have to want to teach yoga? No.
Some students arrive knowing they want to teach. Many arrive because they’ve reached the point where they simply want to understand yoga more deeply.
Teaching becomes one possible expression of that understanding.
