Today, Richard Samuel Roberts is widely viewed as one of South Carolina’s most important photographers, but for decades after his death, he was all but forgotten. Join docent Heather Preston in the galleries for a photographic tour of Columbia as seen through Roberts’ lens — you may be surprised by what you learn. Focal Points is a series of gallery talks featuring topics and themes near and dear to the hearts of docents and staff.
