Whether you're wheeling an Asphalt Late Model, a Dirt Late Model, or the massively popular Losi NASCAR class, this is the event you don’t want to miss.

***General Rules: All Classes***
-IF THE RULES DO NOT EXPLICITLY SAY THAT YOU CAN DO SOMETHING, IT IS ILLEGAL
-MUST keep all components in specified manufacturer’s locations NO alterations.
-Track mate transponders must be used. Rentals $15.00 ($35.00 deposit $20 credit when returned) / Purchase $35.00
-Must run 1-RC brand tires only (soft or hard) built for each 1-RC specific class.
-Six (6) 1-RC race cars of same type make a class.
-Can run any radio in 1-RC classes.
-No ceramic bearings in any class.
-Must run specified gears for each class.
-May not run midget motor or midget drive train in any class but what are specified from f1RC.
-LIPO Charging Rate Policy in effect (See below).
-All parts of the car must be intact and part of the car.
-See reconfigure of components by class (below).
-Air cleaner may be removed to fit shark body and a ALM conversion properly.
-No moving of esc, or any other 1RC part from original location on the car.
-Non-1-RC parts are prohibited.
-No 3D printed 1-RC aftermarket performance parts allowed.
-No gyros in any division competing at the Foam Oval Nationals.

-Any new racer (in-experienced/ new to the hobby)
-1RC NXT racer can not race any other class if racing 1RC NXT

-Stock 8700kv motor 10 tooth pinion c.
-Rear end gearing 49t spur gear on axle, compound gear 44/12t
-Stock 5 cell NiMH battery (Black wrapped)
-Only upgrades allowed are soft tires, spring kit, and rear hub spacers
-No adding droop screws to the front end to adjust ride height
-No adjustable links or tie rods. no aluminum shocks

Losi NASCAR box stock (75% Throttle Limit)

-This is a "Box Stock" class, all parts must remain as the manufacturer intended unless otherwise permitted in the rules listed below.
-Due to the short track style layout, the throttle limit switch on the back of the stock Spektrum SLT2 radio must be switched to 75% and taped into position with a official Foam Oval Nationals tech sticker
Chassis:
-Stock Losi Tub Chassis
-No added weight, anywhere or of any kind.
-No cutting or grinding the chassis or any of the parts that attach to it for any reason. The top deck/center brace must remain in tack as delivered from the factory. All the screws must be used in the top deck/center brace.
-M4 washers may be used on the screws under the front splitter to keep the screws from pulling through the bumper. The screw head must not stick out past the outer part of the splitter.
Electronics:
-Stock electronics only
-Radio: Spektrum SLT2
-ESC/Receiver: Spektrum 2-in-1
-SPMXSE3125RX (1st Gen, Y-adapter needed for Transponder)

Shocks:
-Any shock oil may be used. No internal limiters are allowed. The stock 2.5mm bump stop is the only bump stop allowed. Original black springs only, no upgrade springs, no cutting the springs.
Differentials:
-Grease may be changed in the differentials but must remain free spinning. For tech, we will be spinning the tires, they must cause a differential action in the opposite tire without spinning the motor over. If you spin a tire by hand and the motor spins, then the differential isn't legal.

Bearings may be upgraded, no ceramic/hybrid ceramic allowed.

-Losi/Proline Racing stock car bodies only, no other manufacturers (SuperRad, Exotek, McAllister, etc.) Proline Racing Dodge Viper bodies are not allowed.
-Proline Racing NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series bodies are legal, but not recommended
-Any paint scheme is allowed but a racing theme is encouraged. You must have a number on the roof and door panels.
-The body must be in the stock location and height. No trimming or lighting the body.
Approved upgrades and adjustments:
-Any weight shock oil
-Bearings may be upgraded, no ceramic/hybrid ceramic allowed
-Gluing the sidewall of the tires is permitted
-Any 25mm fan is allowed

***General Tech Inspection***
***1RC Tech Inspection***
-Any car can be requested for tech inspection at any time during competition.
-All cars will be tested and certified for proper tires, motor, batteries, and configuration.
-Motors will be tested outside the cars on dyno and stickered.
-If switching motors both the broken motor and fresh motor must be brought to tech for review. The fresh motor will be stickered.
-Any motor raced without a sticker is automatic DQ.
-Checking for proper tires in each class. (See general rules)
-1RC 8700V motors will be tested for 9300V max.
-Batteries will be tested for MAX 8.44 voltage rate.
-RCU Testers are only official equipment used for voltage, amperage & heat testing determination.
-Any car found not to be certified and running in competition will constitute an immediate DQ.

***LOSI NASCAR Tech inspection***

-Radio taped to 75% w/ official foam oval nationals tech sticker
-Review of chassis and components to receive motor sticker
-Must run stickered motor full event.
-Any car found not to be certified and running in competition will constitute an immediate DQ.

***Watch Dogg LIPO Battery Charging Policy***

The 1RC LiPo Batteries we use are 300mah packs or lower. The known "SAFE" rate of charge for a 300 Lithium polymer battery is a 1.0 A Charge/discharge Rate 7.4 V Max Volts 8.40 / max temp. + 10 degrees over ambient at tech table.
1-RC batteries will be tested for MAX 8.44 voltage rate and Losi NASCAR Rate 7.4 V Max Volts 8.40. Max temp. + 10 degrees over ambient of packs at tech table.
NOTE: Charging above 1.0 is unsafe for your fellow racers and the facility. Higher amp and voltage rates may cause battery explosions and fires, charging at higher rates is also known to destroy LiPo Packs.
We will be monitoring and will ask anyone found abusing the rule to stop immediately. Failure to adhere will lead to termination of participation at the Foam Oval Nationals. Thank you, Matt, “the Murf Dogg” Murphy for creating the standards for tracks to follow and enjoy the RC hobby safely.
