Flowers of Love: a Romantic Evening with Flower Essences

Flower essences are energetic, vibrational medicines that capture the spirit of a plant, allowing us to interact with their magical properties. They are safe for everyone and a gentle form of plant medicine.

In this informal class, we spend time with four flower essences that help us attune to connection, sensuality, feeling and healing. After explaining the folklore, essence ceremony, and healing qualities of an essence, we will take them all together and experience for ourselves what flowers can do. Afterwards, there will be an opportunity to take your own flower essence home, if one (or multiple) is calling to you.

We will learn about flower essences that are specifically helpful in all matters of love: dealing with heartache, letting in new love, embodying one's sexuality, self-love and a celebration of the connections all around us. We will be talking about love expansively here, invoking these flowers to call in romance, friendship, self-compassion and interconnection with the world at large. This class is an opportunity to celebrate the season of romance and find it exactly where you are.

Suggested Donation: $15, though no one turned away due to lack of funds.

Proceeds will be donated to Q Center in Portland.
