Flower Pounding (tataki-zome) Workshop (evening session)

In this workshop, we’ll take you step-by-step through
the technique of Flower Pounding, while you design an attractive floral scene on your choice of either a 9x7 zippered canvas pouch, or an 8x12 drawstring muslin bag. (The 100% cotton fabrics will be treated with a mordant beforehand, so that your finished piece will be colour-fast). We will have a selection of flowers and greens on-hand, but bring a few flowers from your own garden to ensure your piece is unique!
All materials & tools supplied. $35. Club members / $45. non-members.
