Bellingham Fusion Dancers invite you to join us for a night of music, dance, and community.Lesson: 7-8pm
Teacher: Juliette Machado is a contemporary dancer, choreographer, and instructor. She’s a member of Bellingham Repertory Dance (BRD) and a graduate of WWU’s dance program. She’s taught for Whatcom Community College, at regional festivals, and locally in partnership with BRD other groups. Juliette has experience with social dances, including Lindy Hop, and organizes the annual 7-Day Dance Festival.
Lesson Topic: This contemporary dance warm-up class will support readiness for movement with a partner and open up creative possibilities. We will explore solo improv and short sequences that enhance body part integration and maintaining a rooted connection with the floor.
