Florida's Truck Driving Championships

Florida Trucking Association (FTA) invites you to the 2026 Florida Truck Driving Championships — one of the largest professional truck driving competitions in the country, right here in Daytona Beach.

This year, 363 of Florida's top professional commercial motor vehicle drivers will take the course, representing 30 companies including FedEx, Walmart Transportation, Publix Super Markets, UPS, XPO Logistics, ABF Freight, and more. Together, these drivers bring more than 439 million combined miles of safe, accident-free driving to the starting line — and they're competing to prove who's the best.

🏆 What you'll see:

Drivers compete in three disciplines, the public is invited to watch two:

• A precision pre-trip vehicle inspection
• A live skills driving course — where every cone, every maneuver, and every inch counts

Competition takes place across 10 classes, including Straight Truck, Sleeper, Tank, Flatbed, Twins, Auto Transport, Step Van, and 3- to 5-Axle, with all class scores combining to crown a Grand Champion.
