Florida Water is an American version of an Eau de Cologne. Like European eau de colognes it is a citrus scent but shifts the emphasis towards sweet orange and adds spicy notes like clove. There are 5 main ingredients to making your own Florida water: Herbs, spices, flowers citrus and alcohol, which can be customized for your personal preference. One of the most popular uses of Florida Water is for spiritual cleansing and purification. Florida Water can be used to cleanse oneself, objects, or even places. When used on people or objects, it is said to remove negative energy and replace it with positive energy. When used to cleanse a space, Florida Water can be helpful in removing any negative or stagnant energy and can help to create a positive and uplifting atmosphere.
In this class, we will learn about the history of Florida water, it’s common uses and how to make your own. We will end the class by developing our own blend to take home.
