Join Lorraine and Mary Lou from Artistry Floral for a unique floral design class inspired by the captivating art of the "Paris 1874: The Impressionist Moment" exhibit. In this hands-on workshop, you will learn the principles of floral design while creating a fabulous holiday arrangement perfect for your Thanksgiving table.Drawing inspiration from the bold spontaneity of the Impressionist movement, your instructors will guide you in crafting vibrant, expressive floral arrangements that reflect the freedom and creativity of this art era. Together, we’ll explore paintings from the first Impressionist exhibition, now on display at the Musée d’Orsay and the National Gallery of Art, and use these pieces as inspiration for our floral creations.
In addition to creating a stunning centerpiece, you’ll gain valuable insights into flower varieties, care techniques, and design styles, all while receiving practical feedback from instructors and peers. Whether you're a beginner or experienced designer, this workshop is the opportunity to sharpen your skills in a creative, supportive environment.
Please bring floral scissors and a bucket or box to transport your arrangement. Get ready to infuse your holiday table with color and celebrate the season with a touch of Impressionist flair!
