Floating Sound Bath with Denys Morgan Sold Out!
Some experiences are simply unforgettable. Imagine floating weightlessly in warm water as the resonant tones of a sound bath wash over you, releasing tension you didn't even know you were holding. This July, WINHER is offering an intimate, one-of-a-kind afternoon you won't want to miss.
Now in its third year, this beloved WINHER event has sold out every single time, and we expect this summer to be no different. Don't wait.
Join us on Sunday, July 19th from 2:00–4:00 p.m. for water yoga and a floating sound bath experience hosted at a private board member's pool. Space is strictly limited to 12 guests — reserve your spot early.
After your session, we'll each create our own delicious homemade açaí bowl with tropical fruits to nourish and replenish. Because healing tastes good too.
What is a Sound Bath?
A sound bath is an immersive healing experience in which participants are bathed in sound waves produced by instruments such as singing bowls, gongs, and chimes. The vibrations work on a cellular level by calming the nervous system, reducing cortisol, promoting deep relaxation, and facilitating emotional release. When experienced in water, the effect is amplified: the body becomes a vessel for the vibration itself, creating a profound sense of peace and integration that is difficult to put into words.
Sound healing has been used across cultures for thousands of years and is increasingly supported by modern research for its benefits on anxiety, sleep, pain, inflammation, and overall wellbeing.
Meet Your Guide: Denys Morgan
Denys Morgan is a WINHER board member and one of the most richly credentialed wellness practitioners you will ever have the privilege of learning from. Her journey began in the 1980s as an aerobics instructor, and evolved through decades of study and practice — becoming a certified personal trainer, Pilates instructor, Licensed Massage Therapist, and eventually one of Northeast Ohio's most respected yoga teachers.
Denys's yoga career spans over 30 years across a wide range of yogic lineages, with her current passions rooted in Kundalini and Bhakti Yoga. In 2009, while traveling in the Himalayas, she completed her certification as a sound healer — a calling that has taken her back to India many times since, studying at ashrams, visiting holy sites, and training under her gurus. The majority of her teacher training has been done in India, and she has led numerous transformational retreats there.
Denys is the co-founder of both the Ananda Bhakti Yoga Teacher Training and Kundalini Cleveland Yoga Teacher Training programs. Her greatest joy, she says, is teaching teachers to teach.
Denys came to this work not only as a practitioner but as a woman who has lived it. While navigating early-onset menopause in her 40s, she faced depression and the physical and emotional challenges that so many women experience in midlife. The healing modalities she practices were — and continue to be — critical to her journey. She brings that lived experience to every session, and is deeply passionate about supporting women through their own transitions with compassion, wisdom, and joy.
