About the instructor
Kumbi Butler was born in South Korea, adopted at age 4, and grew up in Boulder, Colorado, where she developed a passion for health and fitness. After healing a back injury through yoga, she became certified in personal training, coaching, and group fitness. Her yoga journey includes Power Yoga teacher training with Stephen Earth and Viniyoga Therapy training with Gary Kraftsow. Kumbi's classes are empowering and challenging, integrating music, rhythm, and functional movements. She owned and managed a fitness, dance, and yoga studio in Los Angeles for over 13 years (Heartbeat House). Currently, she serves as the Fitness Manager at the Jonathan Club and teaches yoga and fitness classes at various wellness studios in Los Angeles.
