Welcome to Floating Frequencies at The Westin - Calgary's Luxury Floating Sound Bath

Step into a dreamlike evening of sound and wellness at The Westin’s newly renovated top floor pool in Downtown Calgary, and join us for Floating Frequencies, a carefully curated floating sound bath experience designed to leave you deeply relaxed.

Choose to float weightlessly on an air mattress on the pool, or lounge poolside in a cabana for two, or a lounge chair during a soothing sound bath of crystal singing bowls, chimes, ocean drums, and gong frequencies. Allowing them to carry you into deep relaxation, enhanced by the gentle movement and sound of water.

Sound healing works through a process called entrainment where the brain and body naturally begin to synchronize with external vibrations. Instruments like crystal bowls and gongs produce frequencies that can encourage a shift from active brain states (like beta waves) into slower, restorative states (alpha and theta waves), which are linked to relaxation, meditation, and deep rest.

Doors will be open to arrive between 7:00–7:20 PM

Please note: Due to the setup and nature of the experience, we cannot accommodate early or late arrivals. We kindly request you arrive within this timeframe to attend the sound bath.

Info: Please arrive to the lobby between 7:00-7:20pm. A Westin Team Member will be happy to provide you with a key card and directions to the pool.

Info: Once you have entered the pool space Meghan will check you in, run over a few housekeeping items and assign you to a float or seat.
