The Flint Firebirds are excited to partner with the Hurley Foundation to bring back the classic hockey fundraiser called, Spaghetti On Ice! Event proceeds will benefit the Hurley Children's Hospital. The event will take place on Sunday, February 23rd from 12:30-4:30pm with the spaghetti meal being served around 2pm on the ice at the Dort Financial Center.
Proceeds from Spaghetti on Ice will go towards renovating a teen room presently underutilized space at Hurley Children’s Hospital, transforming it into a space with a wide range of uses. The new multipurpose room will provide parent and family education, a meeting space for physicians, nurses and other team members to collaborate on patient care, a trauma and bereavement space, a teddy bear clinic for children to play and events that ensure children undergoing treatment are able to enjoy typical holiday celebrations.
