Flemington sits exactly halfway between the two major stadiums hosting World Cup matches this summer — and on June 19, we're throwing the party to prove it.
Introducing Flemington Cup: The Halfway Point — a ticketed World Cup watch party and cultural festival on Stangl Road in the heart of Flemington's Stangl Arts and Cultural District. Stangl Road closes down completely and becomes the best place in the region to watch USA vs. Australia, live on a massive LED wall on a full main stage, with the crowd, the sound, and the atmosphere to match.
🎯 THE MAIN EVENT USA vs. Australia kicks off at 3:00 PM and streams live on a massive LED wall on the main stage. You won't miss a second. Additional World Cup matches will stream on TVs throughout the festival footprint before and after the main game.
🎵 LIVE ENTERTAINMENT DJ MK opens the afternoon with a pre-game set to get the crowd fired up. Then The Suyat Band — led by Hawaiian-born Matthew Suyat, Apollo Theater champion and American Idol Top 24 Finalist — closes out the night with high-energy hits from yesterday and today. Additional performance details to be announced.
🍽️ 10+ FOOD TRUCKS A global lineup of 10+ food trucks bringing serious flavor to Stangl Road. More vendor announcements coming soon.
🍺🍷 DRINKS Lone Eagle Brewing is your exclusive craft beer provider on site. A wine and cocktail bar will also be available. Alcoholic beverages are available to guests 21+ with valid ID only (see alcohol policy below).
⚽ SOCCER VILLAGE A full soccer village with activities for the whole family — soccer precision skills challenges, face painting, lawn games, and more. Something for every age.

- Capacity is limited — tickets are expected to sell out
No ticket = no entry. No exceptions.
🔒 SAFETY & SECURITY
The safety of our guests, staff, and community is our top priority. Please review the following before you arrive:
- Tickets will be checked at entry. No ticket, no entrance — no exceptions.
- Security personnel will be on site throughout the event managing entry, checking IDs, and monitoring the festival footprint.
- Valid ID is required for anyone purchasing or consuming alcohol. IDs will be checked at entry. Guests of legal drinking age will receive a wristband — no wristband, no alcohol service. No exceptions.
- No outside food or beverages of any kind are permitted inside the event. Bags may be subject to search at entry. We have 10+ food trucks, multiple beverage options, soft drinks, and water on site — you won't need it!
- This is an all-ages event. Guests of all ages are welcome and encouraged to attend.
🚗 PARKING & TRANSPORTATION
Stangl Road will be fully closed to vehicle traffic on June 19 and is accessible by foot only.
🅿️ St. Magdalen's Parking Lot — Reserved parking for Flemington Cup guests. An easy, walkable distance to the event entrance.
🚌 Shuttle Service — Free shuttles will run between St. Magdalen's lot and the event entrance from 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM. No need to worry about the walk — we've got you covered.
Additional parking options are being confirmed and will be announced prior to the event. Follow the Flemington Improvement District on Facebook for updates.
🚶 Walk or bike if you can — Flemington's downtown is highly walkable and several lots within easy walking distance of Stangl Road will be available.
