Join Yorkshire ARG to conduct some pond surveys of Flaxton village ponds. We intend to conduct surveys at several known GCN pond last surveys in 1994 and conduct some daytime egg searching followed by torching surveys after dark.Meeting and parking location in area at front of village hall at 19:30. People can stay as long as they are able but torching may extend until 22:00 or 22:30 depending on progress/numbers of surveyors.
Please bring a torch if you have one, ideally wellies or waterproof boots and wear bring warm/waterproof clothing. If heavy rain torch surveys may need to be aborted.
A briefing and risk assessment will be conducted on arrival.
