About this Event
This is a new and exciting interactive cooking class that highlights the flavors, techniques and stories behind beloved dishes from various Black cultures around the world.
In this hands-on class, you will learn to prepare dishes inspired by Black history and cuisine of Africa, the Caribbean, and the southern US. As you work through the recipes we will discuss the cultural significance and history behind the ingredients and cooking methods.
Join us for this opportunity to explore the deep connection between food, culture, and community while honoring the resilience and creativity of Black culinary traditions! Whether you're a seasoned cook or a beginner you'll leave with new skills, a full belly and a deeper appreciation for the flavors that have been passed down through generations.
