From Flannery O’Connor’s published collection of letters from 1948 to 1964, "The Habit of Being", the Flannery O’Connor Childhood Home has selected novels, plays, short stories, and essays that Flannery read and discussed with her correspondents to read and discuss with you in the parlor of her childhood home.Our next reading selection is Nathanael West's novel "The Day of the Locusts". Join us at the Flannery O'Connor Childhood Home at 6pm on Sunday, March 9th to discuss this story about the beguilement of Hollywood and the American dream. Moderated by Janie Bragg, current FOCCH Director and former Hollywood employee. This event is free and open to any interested reader, but the Flannery O'Connor Childhood Home is regrettably not ADA accessible.
