Flames of War! Learn-to-Play & Battle Day: JUNE

Flames of War is the World War 2 miniatures wargame done at the 15mm scale (one infantryman model is 15mm tall). The small scale of models makes playing (and collecting!) full platoons of tanks and infantry less arduous than one would think collecting a company-sized force would be!
We'll be setting up our tables on this afternoon for Flames of War gaming, and we'll also have one table dedicated to teaching the game to those curious about what playing Flames of War is like!
DATE: Sunday, June 28, 2026
TIME: 12:00 - 4:00pm
BATTLE TABLES: we supply the terrain, YOU supply your army (100pts) plus dice, tape measure (etc)
LEARN-TO-PLAY TABLE: we supply everything you'll need to play a full game with a good beginner's force that's about one-third the size of a regular gaming force.
We'll have everything on hand to show you the basics of how to play this 15mm-scale World War 2 miniatures game that brings Company-level actions to the tabletop!
'Company Level' refers to a fighting force of several platoons and support: usually 20-40 tanks and roughly 100-150 soldiers or any combination of the two.
This will be an afternoon geared towards:
- People who may or may not already know about Flames of War but are interested in giving the game a try!
- Flames of War players looking to play a fairly casual pick-up game on a Sunday afternoon
- Flames of War enthusiasts looking to join up in an established (albeit currently small) community of other Flames of War players.
