Flamenco Fever at Freo Social!!

Flamenco is the unique and powerful art form that originated in Andalucia Spain.

Much loved Perth group "Flamenco Puro" present an evening of music rhythm and dance that will heighten the senses and stir the emotions. Our wonderful ensemble of artists will be joined by visiting guest dancer the spectacular and charismatic Juan Aguirre from Santiago Chile who has performed with numerous companies and toured extensively in Europe. It is our absolute pleasure to be welcoming Juan back to Perth after our sold out show with him in February 2024. 

Dancers Farida Rabih Renae Harvey and Stefan Karlsson will be joining Juan while singer Manolo Muñoz musicians José Giraldo Francesca Lizza and Raúl Ferrera welcome flautist Annalisa Powell oud player Michael Edelby and cellist Rachel Wigley to the group. This very special ONE NIGHT ONLY event that celebrates the richness and diversity of flamenco is not to be missed!!

PRE-SHOW WORKSHOP: Join Farida at 6:45pm for a fun class that will include some basic moves and rhythms - the perfect introduction to flamenco and preparation for those who may like to join us for some audience participation later in the evening. This class is included in the ticket price and you don't require a partner or special dance wear so are you up for it?..
