Join us for Flamenco 1st Thursdays at Bar Botellón! Our April showcase features Ronjon Datta (guitar) with Shiho Travis (dance), and Yeshe Wingerd (voice).Flamenco 1st Thursdays is a flamenco open mic—musicians and dancers of all levels are warmly invited to join in and share their art.

About Ronjon:
Ronjon does not know when he became interested in Flamenco; perhaps because he finds it to be a cosmic force that has enthralled his passions and propelled him into serious studies. The tangible inception was his first encounter with Brenna McDonald and Espacio Flamenco 10 years ago, enlisting in one of the first group guitar accompaniment courses and would soon be playing for the vibrant advanced beginner dance classes. Ronjon's journey elevated with immersion studies in Jerez, expanding to learn voice, electric bass, and Aire, working with artists including Rocio Parilla, Ricky Pinero, El Guardia. Ronjon continues to study guitar accompaniment with Espacio artists Yeshe Wingerd and Shiho Travis, whom he will perform with on April 2nd. You can also find him on stage with his Latin Psychedelic Folk Rock outfit, Yankee Gaucho, bringing much of the flamenco vibe to his rock 'n' roll band.
