A flag retirement ceremony will be presented by Trail Life and American Heritage Girls Troops IN-1882 on Flag Day weekend, Saturday, June 13 beginning at 9am at the gym entrance (Door K). The flag retirement ceremony is a dignified process to honor and dispose of worn or damaged American flags. It involves a formal ceremony with a color guard, prayers, and the flags being burned in a respectful manner. Worn flags are being collected now and can be placed in the bin in the narthex or the church office. For more info contact Mike Bergin or Caroline Weller.
