Community members are welcome to bring worn, faded, or retired American flags to the VFW to be properly retired. Flags may also be dropped off at the lounge ahead of the ceremony.
This ceremony is part of a full day of events at Winslow VFW, including a Guitars for Vets performance, Chicken BBQ, beer tent, music, food, and a Horseshoe Tournament.
