Five Talent Faithfulness: Stewarding Our Vocations and Resources

What does faithfulness look like when we consider everything God has entrusted to us—not only our financial resources, but also our education, influence, opportunities, relationships, and vocations?

Inspired by Jesus’ parable of the talents in Matthew 25, Five Talent Faithfulness will bring together Christian professionals, business leaders, and community members for an evening devoted to one central theme:

All that we are and all that we have in service to Him.

The evening will unfold in two movements.

How can Christians understand their professions as arenas of faithful service? Andrew Walker, Matt Haste, and Ronny Young will explore the theological foundations of vocational stewardship, the formation of Christian professionals, and the lived experience of pursuing faithfulness within one’s calling.

How can Christians use the financial resources, businesses, and assets entrusted to them for lasting kingdom impact? Chris McAlpin and Michael King from National Christian Foundation will offer a biblical and practical vision for generosity, including creative ways to steward appreciated assets and business interests.

Together, these two conversations will invite us to consider the whole of Christian stewardship:

We steward who God has made us to be and what He has placed in our hands for the glory of God and the good of others.

The evening will also provide an opportunity to learn about and support the work of the Kintsugi Fund.

Heavy hors d’oeuvres will be served when the doors open at 6:00 p.m.

The program will begin at 6:30 p.m. and will be followed by a dessert reception and time for personal conversation with the speakers.

This gathering is designed especially for Christian professionals, business owners, physicians, attorneys, accountants, ministry leaders, and others who desire to use their lives and resources faithfully in service to Christ.
