Fitzbillies Dinner & Quiz Night

In celebration of Food & Drink Week, Fitzbillies is hosting this fun celebration of our fine city and fine food.

Join Tim Hayward (FT food columnist) and Alison Wright (owner of Fitzbillies) for an evening of good food, great cake, and a suitably challenging quiz.

Book in teams of 4-6, or book individual tickets and we'll add you to a team.

This is a rare opportunity for dinner at Cambridge institution Fitzbillies.

About the dinner

Arrive from 7pm for a welcome drink and some classic Fitzbillies snacks.

At 7:30, we'll sit down to our first quiz round, followed by dinner of Chicken Parmigiana (crispy breaded chicken baked in a spiced tomato and red pepper sauce, mozzarella and fresh basil), served with tomato, rocket & parmesan salad. (Vegan and vegetarian alternatives can be provided.)

And for dessert a selection of Fitzbillies cakes.

Additional drinks, including wine, beer, and soft drinks, will be available to purchase from your table.

About the quiz

Tim’s eclectic career history included a stint as a question writer on quiz show Going for Gold (you have to be a certain age to remember that one).

We've hosted impromptu quiz nights for our wonderful team of bakers, baristas and superstars for several years, and they're always really fun evenings. This year, we're bringing the fun to Food & Drink week and our extended Cambridge family!

We'll have a round of Cambridge questions, a round of Fitzbillies facts, and a round each of fascinating food & drink questions, written by Tim.

If you have a group of 4-6 people, you can book as a team. But don't worry if you've only got one or two people! We'll team you up and sit you with some new friends.
