First Steps Towards Your Own AI Application

Would you like to develop your own AI applications or attend our advanced workshops, but lack experience with developer tools and technical environments? In this workshop, we will build the technical foundations: Together, we will set up your complete AI development environment step by step.

In this hands-on workshop, we will install and configure all the key tools needed to develop modern AI applications. To do this, you will work with the command line and resolve any error messages with the support of our AI engineers.

We will install, among other things:

- Visual Studio Code

- Python and UV

- Docker

- Ollama

- WSL for Windows users

You will also learn the basics of working with GitHub, including cloning repositories and managing virtual environments. Throughout the workshop, we discuss best practices for creating stable and reproducible development environments.

Requirements

Programming skills
or willingness to learn.
Please bring the laptop you intend to use for future workshops or for developing your own AI projects. Preferably running MacOs or Linux. You should also have permission to install software on this device.
