Housed in a renovated 1960s post office, the shop opened in August 2023 and serves as a community hub featuring a curated selection of roughly 10,000 titles, including a robust magazine section, cookbooks, and children's literature.
The space operates as a hybrid venue with a 7 a.m. coffee window serving Figure 8 espresso and Texas French Bread pastries, transitioning into a wine bar and café that stays open until 9 p.m. daily. Designed by Thoughtbarn architects, the interior includes skylights, stained-glass reading nooks, and a pea-gravel courtyard, fostering a welcoming environment for reading, working, and social events.
