Austin's Dharma Punx offers a laid-back entry into Buddhist practice, blending spirituality with a punk rock spirit. This inclusive, peer-led meditation group, connected to the Austin Zen Center, welcomes all backgrounds for their Sunday gatherings (11 AM-noon CT, both in-person at 3014 Washington Square and online). Expect guided and silent meditation, readings, and open discussions in a no-pressure, donation-based environment. It's a welcoming space for anyone in Austin curious about mindfulness with an authentic, unconventional vibe.
