Explore the remarkable story of America’s original First Lady and discover the important role she played during the American Revolution, from supporting General George Washington and the Continental Army to her contributions behind the scenes during our Nation’s fight for independence.

Through an engaging and memorable program, we’ll shine a light on Martha Washington’s service, sacrifice, and influence while exploring a chapter of America’s founding story. Come connect with history in a meaningful and family-friendly way as we Celebrate America 250 by Honoring Her Service.

• Unveiling of Martha Washington bust (on loan from the Museum of the American Revolution)
