First Friday Historic Block Party

Who's ready for a good old-fashioned block party?!
A few weeks ago, we asked for your thoughts about hosting an event on the lawn while renovations continue. One of you commented, "Have a block party and everyone bring a dish."
We loved the idea so, we're making it happen with a few fun additions!
Join us for our First Friday Historic Block Party on Friday, August 7th, from 4:00–8:00 PM at 204 S. Road St., Elizabeth City.
Bring your favorite dish to share if you'd like or simply come enjoy the evening! We'll have:
🤠 Line dancing
🍧 Summer treats
🎉 Lawn games and activities for all ages
✨ Local vendors (vendors, send us a message if you're interested!)
The goal is to simply host an evening for neighbors, friends, and families to gather, connect, and have a good time. Whether you stay for 20 minutes or the whole evening, we'd love to begin seeing this historic property become a place where our community can come together. Bring a lawn chair, bring a friend, and if you'd like, bring your favorite dish to share. We can't wait to see you there!
