Bring your own kayak, canoe, or paddleboard and join Park Ranger Casey for a paddle on the French Broad River! We will be taking a short paddle out to enjoy the sights and sounds of our native, twisty river. Any participant is able to fish if you would like to do so as long as you bring a valid TN fishing license.
Ranger Casey will provide information about the all wildlife of the French Broad, current SISBP happenings, and more! Ranger Casey has been paddling this river for many years and has a wealth of knowledge about every fish, reptile, amphibian and as well as all the other creatures that inhabit these special waters.
The group will be launching from Seven Islands Boat Ramp and will paddle down to the bridge, where we will take boats out and be shuttled back to your vehicles using park transportation. Participants should provide your own PFDs, sunscreen, and have plenty of water.
