First Day Hikes – For Kids! Animals of Malibu Creek State Park

This walk is designed especially for kids ages 7–12, but explorers of all ages are welcome to join. 

We’ll head out on the Ann Skager Trail, a flat and easy path that’s accessible for strollers. Come ready to spot tracks, listen for wildlife, and discover the hidden clues animals leave in the park! 

Wear layers and closed toe shoes. Bring water. We recommend you bring a picnic lunch to enjoy at the at the end of the program. 

Rain will cancel. No pets.

Meeting Location: Malibu Creek State Park Main Trailhead Parking Lot near the Bathrooms 

Parking Fees:

All day – $12.00 per car, per day

3 hrs – $9.00 per car

2 hrs – $6.00 per car

1 hr – $3.00 per car

Park in the main trailhead parking lot (third parking lot on your left once entering the park)
