First Day Hike - Difficult

First Day Hikes have been a tradition within state parks for years and we are happy to offer multiple hikes this year to fit with any schedule or hiking ability. Each hike will begin at the Lupton picnic shelter where hot chocolate and light snacks will be provided by Friends of Seven Bends State Park.

This hike will be a difficult seven-mile hike that will cover River Bend Rise, Reservoir Trail and Stonecrop Ridge. Volunteer Ron Litten will be discussing the ecological changes in the valley throughout history.

Be sure to wear sturdy shoes and bring plenty of water and lunch to eat along the way!

*The parks merchandise trailer will be open from 10:00am-2:00pm at the Lupton Access

**First Day Hike stickers will be available at the picnic shelter while supplies last.
