First Dance: Footloose at the Fairgrounds

This is the FIRST dance at your NEW country dance spot on Tuesday nights in the Iowa City area! OPENING NIGHT: TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 8TH, and every Tuesday through fall & winter 2026.
Music starts at 6:30pm, with line dance lesson by Mike & Micki's Country Dancers @ 7pm, followed by open dancing with DJ song requests welcome until 10:30pm. Enjoy a large polished concrete dance floor with plenty of room for two-stepping and partner dancing around the line dancers in the middle. All ages allowed, drinks available for purchase (no drinks on the dance floor). No experience or partner needed. $5 cover charge.
